Patisserie to Open in Hellertown

Markward Group is pleased to announce a new pastry shop has leased 1,200 SF of space in The Shoppes at Hellertown. Markward Group agent Jim Barbour represented the tenant in the transaction. The shop, called Dolce Patisserie, will specialize in unique chocolates, pastries and confections. Owner and chocolatier Alan Pitotti plans to open in early 2008.
Pitotti is a Pennsylvania native, with a Culinary Arts Diploma from Northampton Community College and an Associate Degree in Baking and Pastry Arts from the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in Hyde Park, NY. He has worked at the Hotel Hershey, Philadelphia’s Le Bec-Fin and Norman Love Confections.
