2005 Power Broker Award Bestowed on Markward Group
CoStar Honors Markward Group for Third Consecutive Year

Markward Group, Inc. received the 2005 CoStar Power Broker award recognizing the firm as one of the top 20 commercial real estate brokerages in the Philadelphia market. President and owner Del Markward was recognized as one of the top Industrial Leasing Brokers in the market as well. In the past year, Markward Group sold or leased over 1 million SF of real estate with an aggreagate value of more than $40 million. This is the third consecutive year Markward Group has been acknowledged with the Power Broker award.

CoStar is the nation’s largest independent provider of commercial real estate information. They use data from their extensive database of commercial properties and transactions to rank and recognize the top producers in each market around the country. CoStar’s Philadelphia market includes greater Philadelphia, Harrisburg, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, South New Jersey and Delaware.

Headquartered in Allentown with a second office in Lansdale, Markward Group has grown rapidly since its inception in 1997. Since then, the firm has expanded to include more than a dozen commercial real estate agents. A development arm was added in 1999 and property management and maintenance departments were added in 2004.
